This is a small studio's site. It collects as little as it possibly can, and this page says exactly what that is.

Who is responsible

Richárd János Huszák, sole trader, 8200 Veszprém, Takácskert utca 14. 1/1., Hungary. Tax number 91452155-1-39. Reachable at hi@huszak.dev. We are the data controller for everything described on this page.

The contact form

When you send the form, the details you typed are assembled into one email and delivered to our mailbox. You also get a copy back, confirming that it arrived. That is the entire purpose: so that we can read your enquiry and reply to it.

The legal basis is your consent, given by sending the form (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing hi@huszak.dev and asking us to delete the correspondence.

The message is not written to a database, and there is no CRM behind it. It lives in a mailbox like any other email, and threads that led nowhere are deleted once they are clearly finished — at the latest after 12 months.

Who else handles the message

Two companies process the email on our behalf, both as processors under a data processing agreement, and neither for their own purposes.

Scaleway (Scaleway SAS, France) sends the email — our copy and the confirmation that goes back to you. It therefore handles your name, address and message. Sending runs in Scaleway's Paris region, and the same company hosts the site, so the message is handled in France from the moment you click Send. Delivery logs are kept briefly so a message that fails can be traced.

Migadu (Migadu-Mail GmbH, Switzerland) hosts the mailbox the email lands in. Switzerland is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection, so no further transfer safeguards are required.

Spam protection

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which decides whether a submission came from a person or a script. To do that, Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States) processes your IP address and some technical properties of your browser. Turnstile does not use tracking cookies and does not build an advertising profile. Cloudflare acts as our processor here, and the transfer to the United States is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, which form part of Cloudflare's data processing addendum.

Hosting and logs

The site runs on a server rented from Scaleway (Scaleway SAS, 8 rue de la Ville-l'Évêque, 75008 Paris, France), in their Paris region. Like every web server, it keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, time, requested address, browser identification) which exist to keep the site up and to stop abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working, non-abused website (Article 6(1)(f)).

What this site does not do

No advertising cookies. No analytics that identify you. No tracking pixels, no social media widgets phoning home, no newsletter sign-up harvesting your address in the background. Nothing here is sold or handed to a third party for their own purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our handling of it. One email to hi@huszak.dev is enough, and we answer within 30 days.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you have the right to complain to the supervisory authority: the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH). Seat: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11. Post: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9. Phone: +36 1 391 1400. Email: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu. naih.hu
